文獻將Humeral GT前後分三部分: G1、G2、G3
Humeral GT 高低分三部分: Proximal、Intermediate、Distal
總共為九個部分，使用高像素CT去做骨結構分析其密質骨及鬆質骨的組成。
文獻還將所有測試的Humerus分為RC破裂組與RC完整組，及50歲以下一組與50歲以上一組。

1. 年齡因素相較於肌袖完整性因素對鬆質骨質的影響較大。
2. 有無肌袖破裂對鬆質骨總量無明顯差異。
3. 密質骨質跟年齡及肌袖完整性無明顯關聯。
4. 最適合植入錨釘的位置位於GT Proximal 及 Intermediate Zone。
